Introduction of API Division

The Livzon Pharmaceutical Group Inc. API Division was founded on June 26, 2015, headquartered in the Livzon New North River Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. at the 1st Renmin Road, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. The Division is a comprehensive institution focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of APIs.

After development and reorganization, the API Division has grown into an enterprise containing 4 subsidiary companies: Livzon Group Fuzhou Fuxing Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Livzon New North River Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Livzon Group Ningxia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Livzon Syntpharm Co., Ltd. The Division also contains a specialized API sales center. Presently, the API Division has 2 billion Yuan of turnover, and more than 3,000 employees. The API Division products include human/veterinary APIs, pharmaceutical intermediates, feed additives, and food additives. The plants of subordinate API companies that produce fermentation products have all passed United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspection, and many products have passed USFDA inspection, EUGMP validation, and received CEP certifications. 

The Livzon Pharmaceutical Group active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) R&D department is the center involved in microbial fermentation and chemical synthesis for advanced pharmaceutical technologies.

The center is a platform closely related to manufacturing and seeks to promote highly advanced and efficient API products. The R&D department employs two categories of research, consisting of microbial fermentation and organic synthesis, with the aim of achieving two target goals: new product development and improvement of current products.

Products generated by this department contain APIs and intermediates involved in many therapeutic fields.

Key members of the R&D team have a master’s degree or above in microbial engineering, fermentation engineering, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, and/or pharmaceutical analysis. Team members also possess professional and technical knowledge and have extensive experience in related fields. The main research foci of this department include anti-diabetic, anti-hyperlipidemia, anti-infective, and anti-depressant APIs as well as those that target digestive processes and cardiovascular systems.
